Many Christian public interest law firms, in alliance with ADF, are working tirelessly to defend religious freedom, family values, and the sanctity of human life. Many of these organizations share in varying parts of our mission and ADF works hard to serve them and expand their capacity in their areas of expertise.
ADF was founded for a unique and, we believe, God-given purpose. We exist to empower our allies, through an alliance, to accomplish far more than they could alone. This means we assist them in common areas, but do not assist them in areas outside the scope of our mission. And that is one of the reasons the Alliance is so effective. Since 1994, we have been blessed to work with more than 300 organizations, helping to coordinate an allied effort, to avoid duplication, and to provide resources and strategic direction on cases related to our mission.
As a result, the legal effort for religious freedom, the sanctity of life, marriage, and the family has never been more energized and focused on key legal battles.
A few ways we are working together for religious freedom…
- We help coordinate the work of dozens of allied attorneys and legal groups who are challenging unconstitutional policies that deny Christians equal access to public facilities.
- ADF brought together attorneys and allied legal groups to develop a national strategy to protect marriage even before any significant court challenges were filed on behalf of those who want to receive special legal privileges for same-sex unions.
- We work closely with allies to assist them in their efforts to pool their knowledge and experience for greater effectiveness, sharing legal briefs and expertise, information on the opposition, and co-litigating cases.
